It is nearing the end of our summer and we are gearing up for a new school year. I am looking forward to getting started. This summer has been packed with lots of trips and big happenings. I started out the summer by driving to Klamath Falls to see my son and his wife graduate from college. Then my whole family and I went on a trip to Northern California to visit the Redwoods. I spent the next month working on projects in my home. One of which was painting my kitchen, living, and dining rooms. Then it was time to plan my son's send off party--he and his wife were moving to Chicago to start his career. Then for the next week, I spent as much time with my son as I could before he left for Chicago. This week I am finally starting to think about the upcoming school year. Whew!!! Needless to say, I have lots to do. I will spend next week in classes where I will be designing a science unit on floods. So much to do and so little time!
